Overview

The Journal of Intelligent and Secure Network Systems (JISNS) is a peer-reviewed hybrid journal that publish original and high-quality research on the design, analysis, and deployment of intelligent and security-aware network systems. The journal focuses on computational and system-level approaches where artificial intelligence, machine learning, and security mechanisms are integrated to address challenges in modern networking environments. The journal encourages submissions that bridge theory and practice, emphasizing reproducibility, transparency, and technical depth.

The journal offers:

  • A structured and transparent peer-review process guided by an international Editorial Board
  • Editorial decisions based solely on scientific merit, relevance, and technical soundness
  • Online dissemination to ensure accessibility and long-term visibility of published work
  • Opportunities for research groups, academic societies, conferences, and laboratories to collaborate with the journal through carefully curated special issues on focused and emerging research themes
  • No color charges, no page charges, and free manuscript submission

The Journal of Intelligent and Secure Network Systems publishes original research that addresses intelligence, security, and trust as intrinsic properties of network systems. The scope is intentionally focused to maintain coherence while allowing sufficient breadth for interdisciplinary contributions within computer science and networking.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Intelligent and Learning-Based Network System
  • Secure and Trust-Aware Networking
  • Network Computing Infrastructures
  • System Performance, Efficiency, and Reliability
  • Applied and Interdisciplinary Network Systems

Out of Scope: To preserve the journal’s focus and identity, the following are outside the scope of JISNS:

  • Purely hardware-centric or electronics-only studies without a network systems perspective
  • Signal processing or antenna design lacking system-level relevance
  • Management, policy, or business studies without a computational or networking contribution

Types of Articles: The journal considers the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles presenting novel theoretical, methodological, or applied contributions
  • Survey and Review Articles offering critical synthesis of existing work and identifying future research directions
  • System and Architecture Papers describing intelligent and secure network designs supported by analysis or experimentation
  • Experimental and Simulation-Based Studies with reproducible and well-validated results

All submissions are evaluated strictly on the basis of scientific contribution, originality, technical correctness, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Editorial and Review Process: All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess scope alignment, originality, and compliance with publication ethics. Manuscripts that pass this stage are reviewed using a double-blind peer-review process by independent experts.

The review process emphasizes:

  • Technical rigor and methodological soundness
  • Clarity of presentation and reproducibility of results
  • Contribution to the advancement of intelligent and secure network systems

Editorial decisions are made independently and transparently, based on reviewers’ evaluations and editorial judgment.
