The Journal of Intelligent and Secure Network Systems (JISNS) requires that authorship accurately reflects the scholarly contributions made to the research and manuscript. Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the work and who accept responsibility for its content and integrity.

Criteria for Authorship

An author should have made a substantial contribution to one or more aspects of the work, such as:

• conception or design of the study;
• development of methodology, algorithms, models, or system architecture;
• acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data;
• software development or experimental implementation;
• drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.

All authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work. Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should not be listed as authors.

Author Contributions

Authors are encouraged to provide a clear Author Contributions Statement describing the individual contribution of each author. Where appropriate, recognized contributor-role terminology may be used to improve transparency and appropriate attribution.

Corresponding Author

The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal throughout submission, peer review, revision, and publication. The corresponding author should ensure that:

• all eligible contributors are appropriately listed as authors;
• no ineligible individual has been included as an author;
• all authors have approved the submitted and revised versions of the manuscript;
• all authors are informed of editorial decisions and significant correspondence.

Changes to Authorship

Any request to add, remove, or rearrange author names should normally be made before final acceptance of the manuscript and is subject to editorial approval.

The corresponding author must provide:

1. a clear reason for the proposed change; and
2. written agreement from all authors, including any author being added or removed.

Requests made after acceptance will be considered only in exceptional circumstances and may delay publication while the matter is reviewed.

Inappropriate Authorship

JISNS does not permit guest, gift, honorary, or ghost authorship. Any suspected authorship manipulation, undisclosed contributor, or authorship dispute may be investigated in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and research-integrity procedures.

Authorship Disputes

JISNS does not normally determine the relative contribution of authors. Where an authorship dispute cannot be resolved by the authors themselves, the journal may request clarification from the authors or refer the matter to the relevant institution before proceeding with publication.
